File Extensions - Before files can be processed into J1, allowed file extensions must be made available to the Admissions Candidacy Essay Attachment Use Code in the Make File Extension Available for Attachment window.
Attachment Mapping - Before the form will successfully process into J1, mapping will need to be updated for each of the Candidacy Attachment rows to ensure that the ATTACHMENT_CDE values are valid attachment types and are associated with the AD_CANDCY Use Code in the Attachment Type Definition window in J1 Desktop.

All students are listed as out-of-district for residency and tuition purposes until they provide Admissions and Records with the required documentation. A list of acceptable documents for proving in-district residency are listed on the Required Documents tab. Proof of in-district residency may be emailed to email@example.com or submitted to Admissions and Records in C201 at the College. In-district students pay a lower tuition rate and receive preference in admission to selective entry programs at the College.

Residency documents must be submitted in person to Admissions and Records in C201 or via email to firstname.lastname@example.org. Official high school and college transcripts can be mailed, submitted in person, or sent electronically through a certified digital credential service.
1. High School Transcript/GED
Degree seeking students, including those who apply for financial aid or scholarships at John A. Logan College, are required to provide an official high school transcript with the graduation date or certified GED scores. Transcripts and/or scores may be submitted in person, mailed, or sent electronically to the Admissions and Records Office.
2. College/University Transcript(s)
Students who wish to have previous college coursework evaluated for current degree requirements must submit official college transcripts and the Transcript Evaluation Request Form to Admissions and Records at email@example.com.
3. Proof of Residency
All students are required to provide proof of in-district residency by the end of the second week of the semester. In-district students pay a lower tuition rate and may receive preference when applying to restricted admission programs at the College.
