Current Students
If you’ve taken a course within the last two years at John A. Logan, you do NOT need to re-apply to the College. Instead, please contact Academic Advisement at 618-985-2828 Ext. 8070 or by email at registration@jalc.edu to schedule an appointment with an Academic Advisor. You can reset your log in information by contacting the IT Help Desk at helpdesk@jalc.edu or use pw.jalc.edu.

Returning Students
If you haven’t taken a class with us in two years, you must reapply to the College using the Returning Student application.

Due to a recent increase in fraudulent applications, applicants may be asked to provide additional documentation to verify their identity and eligibility for admission. In some cases, applicants may also be required to meet with an advisor via Zoom before their application can be processed.

First-time Freshman Application

Complete this application for admission if:

you graduated from high school or earned a GED and have never attended college, not including college coursework taken while still in high school (If you have taken dual credit and/or early college courses and this will be your first semester as a college student, you should complete this application); and
you are a US citizen with a valid social security number.

Complete this application for admission if:

you previously attended John A. Logan College.
you are a US citizen with a valid social security number.

Transfer Student Application

Complete this application for admission if:

you previously attended a college or university other than John A. Logan College as a degree seeking student and earned college credit at that institution. An official transcript will be required to have coursework transferred to JALC.
